We started Per Diem because we saw a gap. In New York — a city that runs on style — women with impeccable taste were strapping silicone bands onto Apple Watches and calling it a day. The technology was extraordinary. The jewelry was an afterthought.
Per Diem was born from a simple conviction: your wearable should be as considered as everything else you put on. We hand-carve every cuff from jeweler's wax using traditional lost-wax techniques, then cast each piece in solid 925 sterling silver or gold plated brass.
This is not fashion jewelry. This is not a phone case with ambitions. This is fine jewelry that happens to hold the most sophisticated computer you own.
The Craft
Made the Old Way
Every Per Diem cuff begins as a block of jeweler's wax. Using files and hand tools, we carve each piece by hand — a practice rooted in ancient lost-wax casting traditions. The wax model is invested in plaster, burned out in a kiln, and liquid silver is poured into the void it leaves behind.
The result is a piece with weight, texture, and character that no CNC machine can replicate. Every cuff carries the mark of the hand that made it.
