To avoid oxidation of your silver, we advise against swimming, bathing, or showering while wearing your jewelry. Every sterling silver jewelry order comes with a polishing cloth to help maintain its finish. Store your jewelry in a dustbag or box along with the polishing cloth to prevent tarnishing. If tarnish appears, gently clean your jewelry with the provided polishing cloth.

Gold vermeil is a classic method of plating sterling silver with gold, originating in 18th century France. All our gold vermeil pieces are coated with 18 karat gold.

Gold vermeil jewelry requires special care.  Tarnishing of gold vermeil is natural and should be expected to occur.  The extent of tarnishing depends on various factors, including, among other things, individual body chemistry, humidity in the environment, frequency of use, and care. 

Vermeil jewelry should be taken off before bathing, showering, washing hands, swimming, exercising, or applying perfume, hairspray, or lotion. Exposure to moisture or chemicals can accelerate tarnishing.

If your gold vermeil jewelry needs to be cleaned, avoid all chemical cleaners.  A 100% cotton or microfiber cloth is best for cleaning gold vermeil jewelry.

The watch is connected to the cuff at an intentional 40 degree downward tilt that aligns to the anatomically sloped wrist surface. Consequently, the bottom edge of the watch stays mostly hidden and out of sight, eliminating the need for an additional insert.
